Anyone going along for a look at the old crocks sunday 6 may? i usually follow them down in me pop, plenty of people waving on route, its a good laugh-even my mrs enjoys it!!
As I'm in charge at Felixstowe I won't see the run.
Interestingly - for the NATS cruise they may find it difficult to park on the prom as the Museum has encountered a number of issues in this years event. We have been clearly instructed to only park on the landward side - this means that all beach hut owners and those needing a bench are going to be out of luck!!
I remember the days when someone used to ride the musuem's trade bike to Felixstowe, somewhere around there is a video of this "old boy" on his bike.
Don't forget the change of route this year.
Vehicles start to gather at Christchurch Park Ipswich from 9.30am leaving from 12noon via Westerfield Road, Valley Road, Colchester Road, Heath Road, Bixley Road and Felixstowe Road. The first few should start arriving at Felixstowe Promenade from around 12.45.
Booked in mate! somehow got the truck entered and TT's taking the Terraplane. Will do the park and the run down but probably won't go on the prom, too many kids, chavs and people that are out for the day and really don't want a load of old cars spluttering by.Maybe seeya on the road and could go for a beer or whatever at Flixsto. Bod is still about i think he just looks on here without signing in. as he lives in felixstowe i am meeting him sunday when i get there.
Dont worry Fi, i know its pre entry only and had no intention going on the prom anyway. I am going straight round to bods and we are walking back to the prom for a look.

i'll meet you steve. i was planning on joining the cruise along colchester rd. poxy weather forecast not so good now but i'm going whatever the weather!
