Hi Steve, welcome on here mate. You'll never get those wheels off me, you see they are drilled to fit Morris Minors too and i just bought a Moggy (my 9th one in 4 years) Citreon BX wheels look good on Sceptres. I do like that other forum, we'll have to try and get sid on here too. This is Steves freshly painted car And this one belongs to a bloke called Sid, I love it
Hi Mitch and Fi. Thanks for the welcome. Those wheels are cool Mitch, i dont blame you for keeping hold of them. Is that your white Moggy traveller on the bottom of your post with the wheels on it? Looks the nuts!! Ill send sid a pm on the other forum if you like Mitch, he seems a nice chap BTW, i have some Sceptre Mk2 front and rear o/s quaterlights free to a good home if anyone would like to collect them. (Ipswich) Obviously posting them is a no no due to health and safety bods. I also have the windows and the winder mechanisms in the doors too. Interested? Call 07962 493568 for a chat. I think Sids blue sceptre is a photoshop job. Still cool though.

Another Ipswich bod, seems that most the people on here are from up that way. Are you going to manningtree tomorrow? There are a few of us going, i might go up in my normal car and have a look round. Just look for the Turtlespeed Banner.

Try Gillberry on that other forum you and Mitch were talking about or again try the Humber club forum. (if you don't to join it let me know & I can post them on there for you.)
Hello Steve and welcome. Another Ipswich boy aboard the turtlebus! As Mitch say's, are you coming to Manningtree tommorow? no need to book just turn up, there are several of us going.
Yeah im thinking of taking a little trundle up there. You guys allowed in without a pass? Im a memeber of the Suffolk Vehicle enthusiasts club and i lost my events form. I asked the events co-ordinator if i could turn up and he said i had to have a pass to get in!?!??!?!

Hey Steve, good to meet you today. Loved the car and hope you get it how you want it with or without the Webasto I thought it was just fine so enjoy. Hey did you sell the wife and kids? thought I saw you speed out of the show alone!!.Glad to see your a SVEC member too! we should meet up on one of their thursday night meets also try and get to the Black Horse Stratford first Wed every month, me or someone here could pick you up if you need a ride, it's a good night out. Really enjoyed today apart from some certain boom box idiots who managed to anoy just about everyone, just proves what's been said all along, it will be interesting to watch reactions at the nats if a similar 'sound off' session starts up. I personally thought (AND I'M NOT HAVING A POP AT ANYONE HERE) that best in show both car and bike were interesting choices, both being new and this supposedly being a 'classic' based show, the bike being bog standard and looking just out the showroom, but well done to them anyway. Loved the VW display, damn I must get them out my head. Not really any new Yanks or rods made it this year that caught my eye, not sure about Brit stuff as I don't know whats what with a lot of them, Great display of old bikes too.
Hi Guys. Yeah good show Jerry, cant say im into the loud music thing but each to their own i suppose. The missus and kids came in the "normal" car. I brought my oldest with me and took the middle one home. The babe is a bit young to go in the Bumher.(fnaarrr) Love that truck of yours mate, full of character!! My missus reckons its wicked. Hey bowtie. I did hear he's a bit perverted so ive arranged to meet up with him later for a leering session. Reckon i can give him a run for his money hehehe...

anybody got any valium for bumper !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think hes gonna blow a fuse before long ???
You know me Necktie, not happy unless I'm moanin', but as you weren't there you can't really comment. Check with a few of the others for a more general opinion! mine were just that. By the way your dohnut 's still stuck on the keyboard(!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
hi there, welcome to the turtle heads quite a helpful bunch here. ......it may be of interest that mitch`s smoothies dont look too good on the sceptic, seem to be wrong ofset and a bit small..... he had to buy another moggy to accomodate them.
Hi Mandi. They looked good on the piccie tho didnt they I could've saved him some money, instead of buying a moggy for his wheels, he could've given them to me Saved him all that hassle wouldnt it..... Ive posted a wanted ad for some 13" slot mags. They should look ok, or at least i hope so. Since meeting some of these guys ive come over all "custom" I will only modify the Bumher with subtle items so i can return to standard at any time. That way i shouldnt be limited when it comes to resale. I was thinking wheels, slightly lowered suspension and some extra chrome here and there. (number plate surround, exhaust tip etc) By the way, whats the easiest way to lower a Bumher Rectal?

Best way to lower a septic is to cut the springs at the front and get lowering blocks for the back. As for re-sale, you'd be surprised with Custom cars, as long as you keep it tasteful you can get rid of them ok. I sold my old minor for £3450, if i'd spent the same amount restoring it to look like all the other restored minors i'd have struggled to get £2000. Just keep it tasteful and dont take any tips from Mr Popular!
im good at de-valueing a car... so dont follow me either! i change a vehicle to suit my taste, is it my fault if nobody agrees? matt black n fur is great. i`ll be using lowering blocks on my hawk, fly said he`s going to make them....!

ooh ! I can always comment, its called having the right to my own opinion, if you check out my opinion you may well agree ?????????? but there are ways of saying things !!!!!!!!! if you know what i mean ?? but as you should know diplomacy has never been my strong point !! don't give a flyin f**g who agrees with me and who doesn't
