Bought a Morris Minor last night.biggrin
when its done its going to look nothing like this one

Not much like this one either

Mitch's endeavour to own every Minor in the UK continues..... I will own one oneday Mitch honest!!! I've got it all built up in my head I just can't decide what engine I'd use.

I feel that its down to me to buy all the standard ones that have been ruined by restorers and make them the way they should be. You could do a lot worse than buying Geds Chevette qwerty to get you on the right track.

Throttle linkage kept sticking, running on 3 but got home. Good fun up essex waybiggrin. Just got to get this finished first.

yup! about 6 years ago, following the custom car guide but we addedto the job by putting a '54 splitscreen roof. i made all the cuts, my mate welded. he wouldn;t cut incase anything went tits up. what a fun weekend that was!

When i lived in Portugal one of my mates lent another friend his car when he was away, so his friend thought he's surprise him by making his Triumph 2500 a convertible! They cut the roof off with a chainsaw and painted it zebra style. He was chuffed when he got back. You had to climb in it though cos the strength had gone and the doors wouldn't open!

hi, sorry i'v been away. not sure wot month custom cart that was but i know it was 1997. do it , do it meaner, chop 5" out of the front!! go on, dare ya
