removed rear door handles, these will be welded up and smoothed


finally got the bloody column change mechanism out


mechanism fits into steering box, circled


donor car arriving monday and a guy off of the nsra forum has kindly provided me with pictures and info on fitting the v8 into the mk3 zeph so thanks to gary denham :cheers:

yeah mitch it is really clean but i cant live with a standard car and dont see the point in modding a wreck as your always chasing rot etc, lots of people have expressed there horror in modding the zeph but to be honest mate i couldnt give 2 cherries what the original brigade think, i hope i do it justice when its done, cheers........

i like what you are doing but please dont change the colour , it looks so good that colour and it would be areal shame if it went a diff colour like mat black which is horrible..sorry guys but its such a boreing bloody colour...

cheers stevie, i like the colour but i love black, i cant decide between the original colour or a deep gloss black, incidentally i love matt black as well, but not on this one.....

I s'pose if youre strippin it down you can spray it any colour cos you can get the door shuts, under the bonnet etc. Will you spray it yourself?

heehee, yes there is another 6 foot in front of the car but the engine crane is there steadying the engine so i can make the mounts, thanks for the comments

template made, mount faces made and welded


one side of old mount ready to be cut off and plated


other side cut, gives more room for the exhaust manifolds, ready to be plated


mounts measured and backing welded on, they will be drilled then attached to the chassis and gusseted

mounts welded on and gusseted, old mounts removed and plated, just need to clean them up and start on tidying the engine bay
