Tonight at the ahra meeting at the black horse Becky asked if Turtlespeed would be interersted in giving them a hand at the mersea show.I said i would put it to the forum to see what the feeling was amongst us as a whole. My own opinion and it is only mine is that if the show was to be a winner this year then i would not mind helping.Having said that my loyalty as a turtlespeeder comes first and i will go with the majority. This show has grown in numbers from year to year and i don't see why due to certain events this year should not be even bigger let the turtles decide
Hi all, sorry i haven't been around for ages, can anyone who can help at this years mersea give me a call, number is 07817004872. Just had a chat with the scouts i booked who have pulled out so mega short on bodies. Thanks Doris x

Are there hard and fast rules about what does and doesn't get on the showfield this year mate? Last year was a bit, er, "unpredictable" on that score.
Could help out on the day if I come but can't guarantee, might do the Classic Ford show instead depending how things pan out (more scope to park on the showfield, and sell mk1 Escort and Sierra bits!)

Just my view.... No hard n fast rules at all........This is a "car show" first n foremost n coz it`s organised by the AHRA there is understandbly of course a lean towards the "Rod n Yank" scene.......and as the years go by the attitudes have to change.........
So,how could I say no to your Sierra n then say yes to the Sierra wagon from Chelmsford Drag ?
You`ve got all day Saturday to get ya car clean n presentable,if it`s an on going resto put a few notes up in the screen saying what work you`ve done so far n what the future plans are.If its ya daily driver, say so.
There will be some Do`s n Dont`s posted next week when I get back from RTTS & OK`d `em with the Chair

Turtlespeeders are to be parked in a set area beside AHRA, as there are quite a few members in both camps, this is first come first serve, otherwise it'll be park in main showfield, I'm now off to mersea to sort out a few last minute things, see you there!
