Just a quick update to let you know that I'm getting closer to being ready for the cruise on April 1st.
My PAS pump has been paid for and should be in the post , so I should have that by Wednesday. Then It's a simple case of fitting it putting the belts back on and filling it up.
Thanks to Tony I now have a batteries that should be perfect for firing up the truck.
I forgot to contack Bumper RE: the Lucas Switch, though i still wan't it if it's still available, let me know and I'll give you a call about picking it up.
started fitting the number plate light which is the only thing I think I was lacking for MOT, just going to run it from the rear lights.
really itching to crack on but I don't want to rush anything , and I have to wait for the new PAS pump , before I can start her up again properly.
I might if I can fit some carpet before April but thats the least of my worries and isn't really neccessary.
Hows about an MOT Pass meet at my flat if things go well, my neighbours would love to see a few rods outside. I'm only a couple of minutes from the Copdock interchange. , I reckon I can even get my Girlfriend to cook some food.
Thanks for all the offers of support from everyone, I was considering having to sell the truck but I'm now happy that if I get stuck I can call on a few of you for some help.
Glad you're getting there mate, still got the switches if you need them. Why not come to the swap meet next weekend? you could get a lift with one of us if you don't want to take your car, it's a good day out always loads to see and buy if you have the cash. I'm going so could give you the switches then or call me if needed before. Don't give up on that truck, there's always help and support from one of us on here. also try and come to the Black Horse next Wed. it's a good night out and you can meet the Ipswich 'gang' , again a lift can be arranged if you need it.
I think I will come to the swapmeet. I'll pop down in my daily. Has anyone got the postcode for the venue as I've never been there before and need to multimap it.

I'm planning to just lower the front, or change the profile of the front tyres to drop it a bit. but before I do anything like that I want to make sure that it has an MOT, or I might be wasting time and money on it.
Don't wan't the psycho 83 graphic, but wouldn't mind a "Satans Reject"one in the same style of font .
