Just had Spike in the shop for a window sticker. He turned up in James Dawsons Chevette which he has worked bloody hard to get back on the road. It is exactly as James had it apart from the bonnet pins. The sticker read 'The Spirit of James Dawson'. A fitting tribute to James if you ask me. Thought you might want to see some pictures of it. Good to see the car back on the road where it belongs. Good on yer Spike!
Nice one, blue dots are a nice touch too! Hope to catch this one at some shows this year, its a good insparational car for some of the younger crowd to appreciate an older vehicle that they can still remember. Enjoy............
A fantastic tribute to a great lad. lets hope spike can make it to the b-52 meet. would be nice to have him park it outside the bar dell is going to build for the nats and for all of us to drink a toast to james's memory on the sunday of the nats.
i love this car, always driven in the same vain as james would have. kickin' the arse out! spike brought it up to me at work yesterday to show me the new vinyl work, nice job Mitch.
