Just been having a look round on the site, and this statement made me laugh. For 37 yrs Ive been playing with cars ,and I'd like a penny for everytime someone (member of the public etc) has said "but why did you do that to that lovely old car " ....."why is it so low" ...."can you turn corners with the front wheels like that "..."ooh look ,a steam roller has crushed the roof" Normally Ive just smiled ,got in the car ,wife has looked at me ,and said "I know what youre thinking ,lets just keep calm !!" Next time this happens --seems it should happen more nowadays due to the lower amount of customised cars on the road -- I'll just say "you either get it or you dont" Sorry to ramble!!!!!!!

Its nearly as good as the forecourt comedian who always comments"cor i bet that guzzles the old juice how do you afford to run it".My answer has always been the same when the needle gets to the little E we fill it up and start all over again.
I hate the one ' cor i had one of them years ago i sold it for 25p should have kept it they're worth a fortune now'. Or the time my mate took me out in he's 27 'T' and a group of kids pointed and said 'Chitty Bang Bang!'.
A few yrs ago I had a guy come out with all the above comments ,but he just kept on & on ,wouldnt leave me alone . I was just about to give him a serious" F***k you " etc comment ,as the red mist came down ,when a mate of mine popped his head round the car ,cracking up with laughter ...he had put the guy up to it !!
