In the job that I do I usually spend two or three nights away a week n normally stay in a Holiday Inn.........Not a bad lif I hear some of you say! Weel.a job is a job n sometimes it can get a bit lonely at night if ya know what I mean.
Not so long ago I was up t`north n when I was checkin` in there was this young lady doing the same at reception,she was obviously on her own.
Later on I saw her again in the bar & we chatted..............decided to share a table during Dinner n got on well..She was in Sales too n was a long way from home as well.
After dinner we went to the bar for drinks n chatted the evening away........It wasn`t too long before the barman called last orders.......So,I asked her back too my room as I had a small fridge n bar etc.perhaps watch a film on the TV !
"Have you got cable" she asked sweetly
"Nah" said I "I`ve got a bit of old flex,I"ll tie ya down with that !"
