Thought I would drop in and say Hi, some of you know me and my car so hello to you lot.
For those that dont heres a bit about me.......
actual age 45, still think I'm 20 though move a lot slower than I did then!! on 3rd marriage living in Ipswich and a distribution manager for an Agrochemical company based in Needham market. Been building cars since I was 16 and have built in many different styles, currentley running a completley built from scratch model T van called 'Diggers Express delivery', running a 305 small block chevy with a two speed powerglide, now has a jag rear axle and a dropped tube front end. At the moment its in peices as fitting the axle and rebuilding the gearbox and painting it, a new roof and arches! if theres time before the end of april I might get the interior done. if I knew how to get a picture on here i would [perhaps someone has one tthey could put on for me?? ]
Also working on a '65 thames van with rover V8 power, that should also be on the road this year for the season , and when the t vacates the workshop I am getting a model Y in to get on the road for the Nats!! sounds easy typing it..........should be in the garage now really but been out there all day already!!
Hi Trev, good to see you on here, I know you'll feel right at home straight away with ALL like minded folks. Good catching up with you at Mikes birthday do and look forward to seeing the re-vamped delivery back out there again this season. We have a few runs and get togethers organised already so catch up on the events section and hope you can join in on some.That might mean getting back in that garage on the night shift!
probably a wise choice Trev, but not much fun! i suffer with my back but it's worth the pain for a few days of fun! as for the beer drinking.. we only have 1 or 2!
yeh tony 1 or 2 but thats not cans thats 1 or 2 dozen crates. remember you went to the oliver reed drinking academy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL i actually went and still go the 'BOD' drinking academy, he learnt at the Oliver Reed academy!! he's drunk with the best, curly, Tosh, Danny Baker, Gazza, George Best.....
