I see the post is now up on the NSRA site for the spring swapmeet at Arena Essex on Sunday 4th of March. This is a must do event for that hard to find Yank part, there are also a few Brit parts stalls turning up too.Who's going? might run the truck down there as several people take thier rods for an early run out.
Yeah, but you were acting as my eyes to make sure i wasn't missing anything. And i had my garden to finish. Why did i need to go when you were prepared to freeze on my behalf?
Will be towing the roadster down to the swapmeet now. Talking to Paul Burnham today and it's now booked in for several jobs to be done by the man and his team. So will have the morning at the swaps then on to Gravesend to drop the roadster off. It'll be a long day for sure. Also got a call from the paint shop today saying the roadster doors and hood top are painted and on so hope to pick it up later this week, can't wait as I haven't ever seen this car with doors on. I'll post pics when I can.
Picked the roadster up from the paint shop today, had the hood tops and doors painted and fitted. now deciding what further mods it needs for the right 'look' before it goes down to Burnhams. Anyhoo here's a few pics from today.

just my opinion but i think straight paint is not you . prehaps you could bring it to the nats so me and tony could "french polish"it for you.

Not been much feedback on this one so not sure . I will be setting off early as I'm towing so will be taking my time and want to get there and be able to park somewhere out the way with easy exit as I'm leaving there by 2.00pm to get to Gravesend.
A bit wet, but a good day. I covered my pitch and made a bit. Bought nothing so a profit!!! Finally met up with a few Turtlespeeders and put names to faces and met a few people I havnt seen since last years nats!!!
Gave out loads of leaflets and had a lot of interest for the show. If the weather is fine this good be bigger than we thought.........saying that how many people say yes but dont show?
I also need to apologise to Mandi and Fly, who I managed to ignore yet again!!!!! Becoming a habit now!!! You stood next to my trailer as you put the rain cover over the buggy, but everytime I tried to come say hello, someone wanted a price for something!!!
Good to meet you at last Si just got in from burnham autos all the way home with bumper,Luke and jim and no brakes!Popped a hose on jims patrol trailer on the back as well.Thank god for handbrakes!!!!
I told bumper, he should have tied a bit of rope around luke and used him as an anchor!!! Better than going up chimneys. These kids of today just down they are born!!!

Good to meet you and Mrs P, sorry we had to keep moving and not stay and talk longer but it was a real whistlestop day in the end. We all had worn out heels stopping, with Jim (not yet a Turtlespeeder but soon to be)at the wheel it's non stop entertainment. I even got a Satnav demo en route....oops sorry Tailspin. That dodgy Olds motor would've come in handy as an additional brake for sure.Luke's not quite heavy enough as an anchor just yet, looks like he needs to go on the same diet as you! Anyway the roadster got dropped off and work has commenced, a progress report to follow.
hey i thought i saw you dive under the trailer quick when you saw us coming!
honestly didnt notice you, or id have made you talk to me. good meet, getting bigger each year, i bought a pair of wheels that dont fit the humber, and got two punctures on the pushchair. i still enjoyed it thou
