I've been meaning to read your post all day, sorry!
Right, hopefully this makes sense. You need to copy and the paste the bottom of the 3 links for the photo you wish to post, the paste the link on to your post. I think it's the IMG that you need. COnfused? Have a play and PM me if it doesn't work.

i just setup an account with photobucket but cant work out how to put the pics on here, excuse me for being fick or summink but what is paste? i tried to copy the img but cant view it all and cant see where i would put that on here anyway? i worked out how to put pics on here from my pictures direct but i want to put a little pic beside my name in the left hand column where you got your pussy Fi ! from a very confused Tony!
Don't worry about not been able to work how to post photo's, Mike still has problems.
Once you have copied the IMG link for the photo you wish to post and have writen your bit on here, right click your mouse and select paste. You will then get a web address come up with the details of your photobucket account with img at the start and end. Hit the preview post icon on screen and you should be able to see what your post looks like complete with photo.
Ade had writen a piece on how to post photo's on the Mods and ROdders forum, which might explain things better.
Once your pic is on photo bucket click the edit button. This will give you 3 options.
The first ia avatar. This is what you want. The Avavtar is the name of the small picture next to peoples names. then high lite the url line. right click and save.
Then in your profile go to select avatar and it opens a box for you which begins http:// to put your address. to do this click the box and high light the http:// then press down the ctrl button and then at while still holding it, press V. This will now paste the line for you.
Now save
If you have problems, pm me your photobucket password (you can change it after) and i will do it for you.
Also any pics on photo bucket you want on the forum. High light the IMG line and right click and save and then in your post hold down the ctrl and V button and it will copy the line. Once sent the post the picture will appear.
this technology goes right over my head to, bod and dell will both tell you how patient i am (ha ha) but i still had trouble getting it up! -my avatar that is!
