I know some of you lot moan about me going on the hot hatch forums, but I've been on one a little while ago and came across a young lad who, with the help of his dad is doing up a 1972 Beetle.  He is calling it his project, so best of luck with it fella.  He is only just 14 bless him.

with a 72 beetle he should be on a vw dub site or this one. Mitch has probably had a dozen or more bugs. hot hatch sites wont do him any good with a vw

Nope! Never had one. Nearly bought loads but always ended up with something else. Did have a VW 411LS once ........ugly as hell!
