Change of plan for the moggy, its now in the shop having the bodywork done and we hope to paint it chrismas eve.
The change is it,s now going to be gloss black instead of satin, the reason for this is i know someone with a satin car who,s like mine spends it,s time outdoors under a cover, result cover rubs paint ,paint goes shiny.
So for ease of maintainence colour will now be gloss.Should still be able to get the desired affect with red steel wheels.
Bought some 13 inch steels off an a35 for the front and Mitch,s 14 inch large steels on the back, should give the appearence i want.
Moggy has been stood in my drive for six weeks, jumped in it this morning at 7 am ,it fired up ,no siezed brakes and i drove it 15 miles to the shop AND the bloody heater works (well too) never ceases to amaze me this car.
I loved my satin black moggy but it was hard to look after. You cant clean it, just a quick wash over. And therain doesn't run off it like on a glossy car so they do tend to rust faster. Oh, by the way, those wheels are 13" not 14".
My Sceptre is in the paint shop at the mo, getting shiny black put on it too.
