I know it's not modified and some would say it's too young to be a classic, but here's my uncles Metro...

Shouldn't leave it on the drive though, that'll get nicked and shipped to the south of France before you know it.

Does he want a newer one?  Ive got a metro auto with a 1.4 'k' series engine that I need to get shot of. Also got a mg metro body kit to go with it!!!

I saw a the pics you posted up on R-R in Slaters metro thread.


I like metro's. I think they're cool and a bit underated.


My best mate has had a couple of the newer Rover versions. He had a rover "114"SLI and that thing was quite quick! 1.4 8v I was really impressed. I would definetly own one. In fact I may buy one when I eventually take the minor off the road to re-build it

I have spoken to Uncle and he says thanks for the offer, but he says he is past the boy racer stage.  He's has only got 55k on the clock from new and with a packet of viagra he says he can still manage to see the soles of her feet in the wing mirrors!
