we went to gary,s picnic at the pod this year,what a nostalgic weekend that was.
all the oldskool cars came out to play,and i was sat in the stands telling my son how i used to read about gary,s picnic in custom car all those years ago when around the corner into the fire up lane came ROARIN RAT, i nearly birst into tears,iremember it bieng built the fist time around.
we went into the pit area and spoke to the owner,a really great laid back weekend,i was buzzin for about a month after.
I know that feeling, i saw 'Money Hungry' at last years Thorney Island. I had a lump i my throat, I was 10 all over again. Its good to see the English Custom Car/Drag Racing scene getting its own nostalgia.
Mitch remember when we to street machines 'motivation' show in about '88 or '89 and saw Winstons cleveland powered rover.....Well I felt the same when I saw it last year.
