Nope, you just make sure that the lights & brakes work and hitch it up and you're away!
Getting it in and out of the driveway is another question, especially when you live in street where people have a habbit of parking over your driveway.
Being serious, you do have to watch for damp and to make sure that the gas & electric is OK. The beauty of a van like that is that if it's looked after it well make money. We paid £150 for ours and could easliy sell it for a lot more than that now I've given it a clean up.
Hmm Bristol VR's, would that be the Eatern Coach Works bodied ones, cause if they are quite nice, but they are VR's. Now if you were talking about the Bristol MW or LL then we'd be talking!

Just guessed. I'm building a matching trailer for my Traveller to transport my number plate stall to car shows. I've got about 8 Spare standard minor wheels at home, so dont buy any for yours.
You still got those wide steels Mitch? I was gunna clean em up and wack em on the back. Van wheels on the front(they're slightly wider aren't they?) so I can use the standard minor wheels on the trailer
Heard at the Humber club AGM today that we will have a page in the club magazine called, yip you've guessed it "Caravan Corner". I shall be in heaven!!!!
qwerty wrote: Are they're any tests that need to be done on a caravan? Like cars have an MOT? Looks cool. Would look sweet behind the minor Mitch!
I assume you know that if you passed you test 2000 or later you need a seperate towing licence, as they stopped giving automatic towing rights with full licences. You just take a test like for a car.

No I didn't but thanks for letting me know! I'll have to look into that.
Bored & lonely housewife needs something to do when hubby's away and the batteries have run out.......
So she reads her copy of "Caravans:the illustrated History from 1960" just in case someone happens to ask her a question on the subject. Best £2.50 I've spent in a long time!
Yeah, blokes a c*ck. Someone told him its 1975 not 1986 as he described it, so as he didn't want to mislead he cancelled auction and started again. What a waste of time.
I used to love watching the caravan banger racing at Foxhall (Ipswich).
If a caravan or classic car come to think of it, is past it's best and can't be restored/saved then why banger race it. Just save me any of the window catches from any safari caravans, oh and the safari glasses if they are still in there.
