up for grabs is my dads rover p5b coupe that he has owned for the last ten years and is only the third owner a much loved car but other projects forces sale!!!!
the rover has mot till 1st july 2012 tax till june 2012 but is tax except
the car drives without fault the engine and gearbox are very smooth and you cant even feel the car changing gear the v8 pulls very strong and has very good oil pressure even when warm the engine and gearbox was overhauled in the 1990's it is also fitted with a stainless steal exhaust from the y piece. its had a brand new brake master cylinder and servo fitted in the last few years also had four brand new tyres also that have only done a few hundred miles since being fitted.
the body was resprayed 4 years ago but is now starting to show its age a bit as the bottoms of the doors are starting to go again and could do with another respray in the future, but by all means is very usable as is with a good mop and polish it still shines the interior is in good to average condition with no stitching needed but could do with a good clean and feed!!!! the chrome on the car is almost perfect but could do with a rear bumper as is fading a bit the door rubbers are starting to crack and the driver one needs replacing as some of it is missing see pics there's also a few bits of the interior that needs attention as the front carpets need replacing and the wood could do with being revarnished but nun of this effects the drive!!
so overall a very very nice drive for a 42 year old car that needs a bit of tlc but would easily be a nice classic again
