Hi all, think I have finally found some like minded people. I love classics but some times they just need a little tweek to make them what you want.
Mines a slightly odd choise, more for the old fella with a flat cap and badge bar. Yep its a Rover and it doesn't even have a V8! In fact probably one of the slowest ever its a P6 2000 Auto. It was cheap and solid and thats some times enough when you have very little money. 4 years later and its the car I have owned the longest ever! I think I kinda like it.
So important stuff. Its not stock. The dull Almond paint has gone in favour of custard yellow. The hub caps are V8 ones. The bonet badge is from a 2004 Rover 75. The rear bumper has been tucked into the body. The front overiders removed. Period fog lamps fitted. Rear and side badges removed. Rev counter/clock binacle fitted. Mountney wood rim steering wheel. The mechanicals are standard as I'm not that brave/haven't had the time or funds but who knows one day.
A couple of recentish pics and a before. Embarasingly no MOT and I've just had to register it SORN. Probably some thing to do with our 8 week old son taking up and extrordinary amount of time!
