uits a 383 stroker.dart pro 1 heads.single plane weiand and for now a 750 eddy.headers. the tranny wont last long but were gona give it a try. its a 700r4 with a corvette servo.the rearend is a 9" ford with moser 35 spline axels and a strange billet punkin with 4-56 gears. we will be gettin another punkin. a 4-10 or 4-11.this little s10 should be a hoot on the street or at the drags.its at 11.1 -1 compression,decked block,line bored and all ballanced.we're workin on the body now. man, its a little rough but we can save it.we dont know what color to paint it yet.id say about 2 more weeks maby 3 it will be on the road. we did a frame off on it. got carried away. hahaha,,,,imagine that!!!

thanks folks. the little 383 is only puttin out about 460 h.p. .a dart intake to match the heads and a bigger carb will put it at around 500 h. p. .but i think it will be fine as is.thats old c b in the pics. i call him shreck. so it looks like we have a shreck too.
the lift belongs to c b's son. we rented the shop for 250 a month. its a 3 bay shop. plenty of room for our work.we're buildin the s10 and then on to my wifes mustang . then my nova.thats the plan anyway.we did find a good 5 speed for the mustang.it needs a new rag top also.by the end of next week the s10 should be done or close to it. that dang lift is a handy tool.everyone needs a lift.
yeah i use the works lifts, for working on the triumph.i work for a vw main dealer so its a handy perk. and saves my back lol.pop some pics up of the mustang and the nova id like to see them.

the 63 nova wagon is here somewhere with the 83 mustang.danged if i can remember where.i chopped the novas top 7 in.we had a major computer fry and lost all our pics.my wife has some on disk somewhere. i do need to find em.
found the mustang.the nova is in say hello under my intro.these projects are a hoot. i cant think of anything i'd rather do.oh yeah, the mustang only has 47k miles on it.i do think we will leave it as is. it runs great.the new top and pad should be here monday!!!

well folks, this is the last little bit of bondo to go on the s10. im so dang happy about that i could dance a jig.i dont mind puttin it on but takin it back down can get dang old.im not a pro so it does take me a good while to get it like i want it.we were gona paint today but its way humid and is gona storm out .we do have other work to do but really wanted to paint today.
started sealin yesterday.it went real bad. looked terrible!!like texture or shark skin. rough as heck.oh well, back to the drawin board. what a dang mess. hahaha,,,oh well,,,we'll get it.

oh no geezer thats not good mate, sounds like it may have reacted with something on the bodywork. keep at it tho - you'll get there eventually
got the sealer goin our way. should be done today.then the paint. im a bit worried about it. we have had alot of trouble the whole way.even with the primer. its the cheap azz gun,moisture, and dirt . ole c b is about ready to give up. i wont let him do that.it will be finished.
hey cudley. your rite about them sun glasses. we took a fender out in the sunshine to get a look at it.its way dang bright.looks like chrome. mite have to wear a weldin hood.it will get even more shiny when we get the clear on it.more pics tomorrow.

theres some mexican guys next door to the shop that do low riders. they come up with some wild paint jobs.i'll try to get a few more pics of their work if yall like that sort of stuff.

well,its still not runnin.everything is there but the little things at the end are takin some time.them dang headers and plugs were a pita to get in.then the tranny lines were hidden purdy good too.took me a long day just to get em done.now all we lack is boltin the front back on and hookin up the radiator and put the oil in.dang if it hasnt took us a long time on this one.still have that clear coat to deal with too.maby it will take off fast enough to slick up that clear,,,hahaha

the dang thing wouldnt go in in gear. we scratched our heads for days.i took the dust cover to check the converter bolts. hahaha. there wasnt any. hahaha. no dang wonder it wont move. i laughed so hard and long my face is sore. you just had to be there to see the look on ole c b;s face.it was worth a fortune. hahaha. hot rod builders my tookus. you talk about feelin like a dumb azz. we did.got the converter bolts in and we both had to leave.goin back today to test drive this sucker. its should be a hoot!!!
hahha ,so, we're not the only ones who do things like that. thats good to know.still makes a feller feel dumb as a rock.it works great now.did a little burn out.it was way too easy.this thing is way lite in the rear.
YEEEEHAAA im glad ya got it running and moving lol. we all make misstakes ,usually because we wona just get the car on the road and ripp it down the street to see if what we've done works and holds together lol. well done Geezer, another hot rod hits the road mmm.

thanks cudley its ben a lot of fun puttin this thing together. now im om my wifes mustang. got the tranny in and am goin to be puttin a new rag top on next.its a dang good runnin little car and she dont want me to mess with the engine.mite be a good call on her part.
