Clashes (as always) with St George's Day parade and seeing as I should be presented with my Wood badge for finishing my Scout leader training I've really got to go to that.
Not sure what Sniper's doing yet, it's Cars on the Green in Bury as well.
Yeah, exciting stuff I know! It's 2 little wooden toggles on a leather thong! (Well I tried to make it sounds sexy for you.)
It goes back to when Robert Baden Powell was serving in the army out in Africa and he was presented with a special wooden necklace and he gave all of his early Scout leaders a piece of this necklace.
I managed to do my training in just over 2 years, which is pretty good going as we're given 5 years to complete it in. Now I've just to do this blinking NVQ level 3 in Child Care for work.
I might as well start a list of goodies to bake for manningtree. might make a special turtlespeed sponge cake as well, so if anyone wants to add suggestions for easy bakes i'll try and keep all happy. Btw muffins will be full size this year specially for steve's apache as he enjoyed last years mini muffins.
