I'm looking for vintage hardtop stock cars and modified American cars to use in an upcoming Audi commercial that we are filming in March and I'm hoping you may be able to point me in the right direction.
We have sourced 6 x US Vintage hardtops that we are importing from the States and I am now sourcing a further 14-16 vehicles from the UK, but ideally looking for more cars that are American so that they are less recognisable to a UK audience.
We are looking for cars from the eras between the 1930's & 1990's but predominantly from pre 1950's. The key things we are looking for are that they are all hardtops - nothing too polished and pristine, but modified cars, gassers or hot rods that hardly resemble their original state - exposed engines and wheel chassis are great as are additional bumpers and grids, raised suspensions, big wheels, added extras, etc. Anything of American origin obviously works due to my previous note that they become fairly anonymous as to what type of car they started off as to the untrained eye.
The filming is taking place between the 17th & 20th March at the Excel Centre and we have a budget of £1,500 per car to give to the owners for the hire of their vehicles from the 10th - 23rd March and will be able to pay any transport costs on top of this.
