Well seeing as i was forced into taking a weeks holiday last week because of the weather i decided to attack the zody engine and removed the head for inspection and was pleasantly surprised how clean it all was and with only minor carbon on the piston tops with no cylinder scoring i was happy to just remove the valves, clean the head and fit new valve seals. It was an ideal time to clean all the engine down and paint it and its turned out quite nicely. With new hoses, gaskets and thermostat it will give me peace of mind using it during the year.
