Who's Car is this??


Hi all my name is will and i live in ipswich, i went to the nasc show this sunday and saw the car pictured below forsale, i have a freind who knows the owner but he wasnt sure on what exactly the car was, i loved this car when i saw it and esspecially when i saw it was forsale, i wanted to know what engine this may have? Many thanks for any help and nice site

thanks for the welcomes, i was told it was a hudson hornet but im not sure, i mainly wanted to know what car it was rather than whom's, any help??

EARLY 50,S CHEVY I WOULD SAY, PROBABLY A STRAIGHT SIX ORIGINALY, LOOKS COOL THOUGH, AND A GOOD PRICE TOO!

your not wrong mate, its a 1950 chevy coupe, just would love to know more details on that specific car, couldnt find the owner to ask him at the time!!!, is such a sleek slender but evil looking car!!

just had a look in me bible its a 1952 chevy fleetline or styleline came with a 216 cid at 90hp. styleline had less chrome trim. price range 1519 to 2281 bucks

so unless its been converted to v8 its gonna be a straight six, im defo only looking for a v8, also could this be an austrailian import being as its rhd or are they fairly easy to convert??, really really wish i had spoken to the owner

Sniper has just seen the photo and says that the guy that owns it goes on Retro Rides and several of the VW forums, I thought I'd seen it advertised somehwere on the 'net and it must have been on Retro Rides. Hope that helps.

thanks for that fella, pitty its a straight 6, i wanted one with a v8 in place already that perhaps needs some body work and general tiding up, im not afraid of rust being a mechanic and a dab hand with a welder if i do say so myself lol, was just in my price range as well, o well the search continues!!
