my cresta is a bit "bare" under the dash so ive decided to make my own centre console.
here are some pics showin how far i am.
you cant really see the taper from rear to front in the pics but its there.

Thanks for the comments guys an gals.
Here it is in the car, just need to get some black edging trim to cover the carpet backing on the front and its about done. You can see me wires hangin ready to set me gauges up.
Ok its not exactly a professional job or on a scale of what some guys on here manage to fabricate and build but for about 3 quid and some odds an ends layin about ive got a cheap and cheerful sideboard to put me stereo in. biggrin

looks grand mate. just started on some panels to cover all my hanging wires under the dash and above the pass foot well.and then ill do the center consul and panel on drivers side.

Cheers guys. What else can i make? Maybe a centre armrest? Not much room between the seats is the only problem. I would have made the console full length if there were more room.
I like anything with "cheap" in the price geezer!!!!
