any help much appriciated - maybe electrical

As most of you know I have had problems starting the camaro but recent weeks have seen the beast start and perform well. Last wednesday we had a cruise with Jo and mark and simon to clacton for a drink. went to start the  camaro and it laboured to start mark mentioned as did many at mersea madness that the rear brake light was not on. the rear indicator  just  stayed on on wednesday as we signalled to turn. went to start the car today and the battery was flat as a nuns chest. does anyone think this might be the source of my battery draining? the battery is on charge now and will try it in the morning so fingers crossed. me and electrics dont mix.

With an amp meter.check for any amp draw with everything tuned off .to see if anything is draining the battery. With everything off it should be almost 0.Also if you can ,get the battery checked ,not buy kwick fit or formula 1, they'll just tell you it's got a dead cell, and sell you a new battery.Lisen to see if you can hear anything running or clicking ie relays. As dell said check all your light units are earthed and check your engine to body earth lead and check the condition of the earth lead. And also check the alternator is charging at least 13.3 volts. And if all else fails buy a booster battery pack so youve got a back up if the car battery goes flat. hope this helps,if you lived nearer id pop round and look at it for you.good luck ian.

had the battery checked last year when I had starting probs at motormania but they said the battery was good and if I wanted to get it checked it would cost £90.00 just as much as the battery!!!!!!
I can never get my head round the electrics of cars etc but all this put a meter on it just goes straight over my head. duds I would take you up on your suggestion of coming up if you were closer, cheers matey. when we went out on wednesday there seems to be is a slight clicking coming from behind  the dashboard. not sure what it is.
