rover v8 tapping

My 3.5 rover v8 isnt a happy bunnyconfuse . When up to temp it taps from the top end  on the n/s head. I've replaced the cam shaft (std new)the hydrolic tappets, push rods, rocker shafts and rocker shaft fingers. It has a fresh new ground crank with all new shells mains and big ends.oil presure is fine .Not totaly sure if its flowing to ther hyd tappets fully, I've got to check that out.its not a littel end ive taken off the plug leads one at a time to check if it stops, but to know avail. Any ideas would be welcome as im running out of things to try. well other than saying sod it and get a 4.2 rover v8 mmm if i only had the dosh lol.biggrin

The most likely answer is lack of oil.I`ve got the same prob with the Humber,I`ve got the rockers on the bench now ready for a clean up of the oil ways
