i need some ideas for a trophy for mersea which old skool can give out.
i made this one a few years ago for drayton
and i an just about to finish this which we will give out at the nats this year 5" slot mag mounted on a tiny hub with a bearing so it spins, just need to paint the slots
that wheel took me ages at work and my boss is a bit pissed off so i need a nice simple idea i can do on my dinner breaks which will look the nuts. i have access to just about every machine shop tool and can probably get hold of most car bits to mod.........what do you all think then??? i have creative block!

My mum used to make them in 1970's to use up the scraps of fur fabric she had left over from make the soft toys. At one stage they were as popular as her Wombles and blue & white teddy bears. That'll give a clue as to what year we're talking about.
i think you need eiher dice or skulls heads on the wheel nuts...or something like that...but very good ...or for racer boys spinners .....wheel goes one way the spinner the other....
i think that wheel is the mutts nuts, and i agree with mrs pop , you need to dress the wheel nuts as dice/skulls/bullets etc...and if it was me i'd have gone for five stud cos all my fav fords are five stud..but thats just me being me ..its a job well done.
i was thinking more of a funky piston or something
