well I lost my job last november because of it, was unemployed for 3 months and had to get by any way i could but working again now. So back on track again. Shouldn't effect the car or bikes gettting done though. A lot of my spare money goes on Rockabilly weekenders and nights out, but I haven't been to a club since december and only got one weekender booked so far this year, basically I'm playing it a bit safe as you never know whats round the corner!
6 of us have been laid off last week! the other drivers had to take a 5% pay cut. i spent all last week looking around for work with no luck. at least i get to help at home with the packing as we are moving. if things get much worse i will have to sell my dayvan & the buick
I,M STILL ONLY DOING 20 HOURS A WEEK DRIVING A SCHOOL MINIBUS AT MIN WAGE, BUT GOT SOME PAINT AND BODYWORK JOBS IN THOUGH WHICH IS A GODSEND !! SO JUST KEEPING OUR HEADS ABOVE WATER, AND I MEAN JUST.....................WE HAVE HAD TO SELL LOADS OF STUFF INCLUDING THE T/A REG NUMBER, BUT AT LEAST WE STILL HAVE THE CAR FOR THE MOMENT.
i think everyone is in the same boat..money tight...just got to tightern our belts...as long as you have enough money for petrol and enterance fee what else do you need...oh yeh a flask of tea....

And choccy biscuits!! Except they've gone up in price and just don't talk about the price of fruit & veg. Roll on the better weather when we can start to grow our own again.
Things are kinda interesting at playgroup, with some parents starting to cut back on the nmber of paid sessions their little ones do. (free-funding starts for children the term after their 3rd bithday and we take them at 2, so for a year or so the parents pay.) So at the moment for me things are ok. (Fingers crossed etc....)
im sorry to hear some of you guys are having a tough time at the mo. just as long as we can afford the fuel for are beastes ,unless that goes up to . my fieance is going to start growing veg and i cant wait.fresh food tastes so much nicer than frozen.im a mechanic at vw and i cant belive we are still managing to sell a few cars.16 last weekend.work is up and down one day bizzy the next not much in at all. not been hit that bad had a few weeks off but work has now started to come in but then agagin i dont have a 1/4 of the **** 99% of the people so far here have. but i hasnt helped me in regards to finding 10k towards a house.
A lot of car dealers seem quite busy, I am certainly busy with car inspections, lots of new car sales seem to be old biddies spending their nest egg as the interest is non existent now. Bound to get better soon folks, a bit of sunshine and everyone will feel better. Hang onto your toys!!!!
