can anyone help us out in any way with this event? Would be nice if some one (or many people) could take leaflets to Arena Essex and give them out like someone did last time. Also if anyone on here goes on any other forums could they put the word around? If anyone wants a poster let me know, Steve (Apache) will have some leaflets soon. Also on the day, I doubt i'll be there so if anyone could help with directing cars etc. this would be good. Si and co did a good job last time so perhaps this time someone else could help. Also any ideas to help make this event a success would be great. Ta
I think every turtlespeeder should help out in some way or other, i'm willing to do my bit, i'll happily do a bit in the car park, rods/customs/yanks/classics one way chavy saxo's the other!
Ive just got off the phone after speaking to Simon and as he has'nt access to a computer at the moment he asked me to ask for people to help at the B52 show. What we need is; 2 people working the gate At least 2 people parking the cars and 2 people showing the public where to park their daily's. Obviously you wont be stuck in the car park all day as you will only need to do a shift.
I've done this basic flyer image as its cheaper for steve to get it printed, so if any of you want to save this one and print it off it would be very helpful. Last time we had a show I kept some leaflets in my car so if i spotted a suitable vehice on my daily travels i could give them a leaflet. Sorry its a bit basic but I'm a bit busy at the mo.
il help in whatever way i can.il be the guy drooling over everone elses rides. so dont be afraid to ask me.lol whos in charge that day ,or who should i ask for to offer my assistance,as i dont realy know any one on here yet.

you also need two people on that roundabout before the b52 club, remember last time people kept going round it not knowing what exit to take..we had reece on the roundabout and luca on the corner of the road.

Why not just put stevie on the roundabout, he's the size of two people!!
why not just park one of our cars on the roundabout/steve lol. and a large sighn or poster with car show this way. poss advertise it on southend/essex radio.if its a nice day im sure people will go as well as the passes by going to the retail park.im telling everyone i know about it. most only have dailys but say theyl pop down.

Hahahahaha @ cudley, park a car on me hahahahaha Fort tony was the roundabout..... I agree, a sign on the island would be a good idea if one could be made up. I dont mind doin it if everyones happy with that? Is it a grass island we can shove poles into? Also, can we not get any outside help like they have at manningtree? Scouts, cadets etc? Just had another thought. I know someone with a bouncy castle business. Do i ask if theyll travel that far?

we put loads on lamposts last time and people still missed the turn off... russ had a castle there last time..maybe phone russ see what he's laying on.. i think the scouts want donations to help.. also think the round about is all concrete , mr popular i think is gonna have a look to see if any signs can be attached..
Next year you can all charge as much as you want. This year its free!!!!!!
Charging opens a hue can of worms with insurance, health & safety etc, etc, which is why Mitch & Si had said 2 years ago when they first ran the gathering they wouldn't charge.
