The wife's new car


Just been to get a new car for Sarah. wanted something to replace her renault Scenic.
Now need to decide whether to fit revolutions or moon discs. Will be satin blacked by the summer.

Yeah they would. I drove it 40 miles home tonight, it was lovely. And the old owner cleaned it and put half a tank of fuel in it!

Nice motors they are. My dad had a Dolomite 1850TC for years, i loved that car and used to drive it as much as possible. I nearly bought a 2500S a few years ago but the seller was a bit iffy so i didnt bother.

i see youve got it mitch,cooooel well ,yours looks alot cleaner than mine .so straight 6 twin carbs or something a littel BIGGER lol.

Just become a supplier for Webber so can get them reasonably cheap

hi mitch are you going to 127 diner tommorow.could meet up on way. the body work looks fine in white,are you sure satin black,ive been asked loads of times by people to do the same to my mk1 and i cant do it.i saw a mk1 in satin black once at a show and the guy had painted all the chrome black too,it made me cringe and i told myself i wouldnt do that to mine.i see the edelbrock sticker ,have you changed the su's. the bottems of your doors look good to,mine are worse for wear lol.

Might be going but not sure yet. I'll see you there if i do. Not changed the carbs but needed to do something and the Edelbrock sticker is nicer than the SU.

ok mate no worrys,ive found a mk2 owners hand book you can have if you want it ,il bring it with me. house chores ,breaky,then im off to get the triumph. i wont get there till 1 or 2 ish.may be see you there.

i got there, what an experiance lol wet roads and slow wipers no heated rear screen ,but i do so love taking the triumph out for a blast.at 1500 rpm in 2nd and 3rd what a lush tone mmm. and when i got there everyone had gone i didnt get there till 3 pm. well meet you soon mate.
