Hi All
Does anybody know of or can recommend someone who can take on the task of breathing new life into my bruvs `56 Velox. He has got a Rover 3.9 engine and autobox from an ex-military ambulance, and wants to get it shoehorned into a bog standard `56 Velox. He dosnt mind if the column change is lost, just wants the car running in anger again!! Maybe one of you guys would be interested in this job!!

I"ll have a go at that.Guess he"ll need the brakes,suspenders n back axle upgraded too

From a quick squint on`tinternet the front looks big enough to swallow the V8.They used to have a straight 6 in there so there`s possibly room.

This little FB is running a V8

could be wrong?

they fitted the viva front end mainly on the pops
the front end will take a v8 but you'll need to uprate the brakes maybe find a pc cresta to rob

I had viva front end on my old pop which had cortina discs and calipers fitted. seemed to work well enough. It took the weight of the v8 no problems.

if youve got the time ,and plan it rite you can fit anything into anything. a welder and a grinder do help lol.
