If youre one of the 77 individuals with a £200k deposit on Aston Martins £1.2 million One-77 youll be familiar with these pictures already.
The car pictured is in fact only a styling buck, and while its not quite the final signed-off version of the ultimate Aston destined to hit the tarmac or more likely be secreted in collectors heated garages next year, it must be close. Sources indicate its the life-size model that Astons sales department used to seduce deposit cheques from its favourite customers.
The company teased the rest of us with a glimpse of part of the car which was mainly hidden under a blanket at the Paris Show in September.
Documents published previously by Dutch website 925 (who first uncovered these pics) reveal interesting insights into the payment schedule for the cars. The first £200k was due with the signed order, with another £300k payable six months before delivery. The final instalment of £550k as well as any and all charges for special features is payable when the car has been completed and if you dont make the crucial last payment Aston will keep your first half million anyway!
Alongside the sales documents, 925 say Aston supplied buyers with the following specs:

Transmission: Rear mid-mounted 6-speed automated manual and ASM/SSM electro-hydraulic control.
Body: Sports coupe with two seats. Available as left or right hand drive. Carbon fibre monocoque body structure. Hand-crafted aluminium exterior panels. Active aerodynamics with deployable rear spoiler. Approx 1500kg vehicle weight.
Suspension and brakes: Front and rear pushrod actuated adaptive ride height suspension. Carbon Ceramic Matrix braking system. Dynamic stability control and traction control.
