What the feck is wrong with some people? its a 1998 so how in the hell does that make it a classic? ITS NOT A CLASSIC! In my experience a car has to be 25 years old at least to make a classic. The only thing thats classic about that is its a classic bit of crap! Its like these people turning up at classic car shows in these new fiat 125's, these newish mg's and them poxy bmw minis! The thing is, thay are modern cars and not classics.
even some cars 25 years old aint exactly classics. a 1984 3 series beemer dont exactly scream classic to me, nor does a sierra. depends on the person i spose. i remember talkin to a lad in a chav shop (i wanted nice wheels for me mrs space wagon) and he told me he was into classic cars. when i asked what he had he said "mk2 golf". like thats a classic car????????????

It is a classic, in the same way that the early VW Golf's, Renault 5's, Pug 205, Ovlov 240 & 440 series etc are becoming..the classics of the future. The Espace was fairly advanced for it's time and if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have the other MPV's that hit the roads at school run time.
Best thing to do with it would be buy it and stick away in a lock-up for a few years.
Not my cup of tea and with that I will get my coat and head for the streets labeled Retro Rides.............
The way i see a car as a classic is something people will want to, or want to see, restore(d) in years to come. no one in their right mind would want to restore an Espace, surely?
Lock it up for a few years......then never open the door hehehehe

Lock it up for a few years, then when the temperature does drop through climate change you'll have something big and plasticy to push onto your bonfire to keep you warm for a few days
I love XJS's, always wanted one but i know they are just a money pit of the greatest depth. BUT!!!! i think they are such a pretty design, totally unique with those buttresses out the back. And i reckon because of the electrical and structural downfalls, the few good ones that are left will find a few homes.
