The car that changed me...


I found this picture in a book and it brought the memories flooding back. It was built about 1979 by a southend boy called Richie king and was a beauty.
I saw it at a car show at southend airport about 1980ish and fell in love with it.
It was different to anything else that was about at that time It was also the first (successful) roof chopped minor.
It ran a 3 litre V6.
If anyone's got any other pics of it I'd love to see them.

Not so much influenced, but i remember seein a V12 Series 3 Jag Sovereign when they first came out an i wanted one ever since. Ive had a few Jags but not a V12 as yet, cant find a good enough one to warrant the price.

for me its was Christine, even today i still would like to own one, brought my  caddy instead, when a 58 Plymouth from the states went t"ts up!
