Got a flyer at the Nats thru Buzz & Dee (Chelmsford Drag) about this event.Rumour is that they`d like the AHRA to do the show.

Dunno if they`ve approached Owen but I reckon that the club has enough to do already & that peeps may just associate this event with Mersea Madness n not turn up in June.

My other concern is that this event may also coincide with the Spring Nats.

Can't see a lot of Rockin' people turning up. Its less than a month before the Rockabilly Rave and a lot of people at the moment are watching their pennies.
Also, i know its £50 in advance, but as its camping I wouldn't want to book until I get there and £85 on the door is ridiculous!
And I am getting a bit sick of this mixing of the Rockabilly and Mods thing, Its been going on at london clubs for quite a time and it makes the music less hardcore as the DJ's try and appeal to both groups.
