been watching a car in aberdeen of all places, its mot`d so we`d planned to drive it home... but then we realised it comes with a spare engine, gearbox and lots of stuff. been quoted over 1000 quid for transport, seems alot, its 550 miles. any ideas where we could hire a beavertail ? cheers all
How were you planning on getting to Aberdeen? Why not hire a transit or similar to drive up in, take a engine crane tools etc.and bring all the spares home that way. Most hire companies are unlimited milage be a long day but make the most out of it. This also poss gives you a tow vehicle should you konk out on the way home. Good luck, wot ya buying now!
