R.O.G. - The Rally of the Giants
The Rally of the Giants known as the RoG is the Clubs main event, held Annually, usually in July at the splendid Knebworth Park in Hertfordshire.
First held in 1965, this year marks the 43th anniversary of the BEST AMERICAN CAR SHOW IN THE UK. Quality, not quantity is the benchmark of the RoG, so expect to see the best examples of every famous American marque, from Auburns to Pierce Arrows, Buicks, Cadillacs, Cevrolets, Dodge, Dusenberg, Edsels,Fords, Grahams, Hudsons, Internationals, the A to Z of Classic American cars built before 1959 but all aficionados and owners of American cars of any age are welcome.
Enthusiasts come from all over the world, the US, Scandinavia, France and Germany, with vehicles discovered in unlikely locations - Switzerland and Zimbabwe.
Although the RoG is run by the Pre50AAC it is supported by many other clubs who have their own stands. In 2004 the RoG hosted the thunderbird Club of America.

There are a wide range of awards competed for and the show has a parade ring, with attendant commentary on the vehicles.
As part of the event we have trade stands, food vendors, licensed bars and the Pre50AAC bookstall where you can choose from over 450 titles. The Park restaurant is open too and for the kids there is Fort Knebworth and other attractions such as a bouncy castle, whilst Knebworth house and its formal gardens are open to the public too.
