drag racing on tv


every thursday at seven in the evening nhra drag racing in on US five . wasnt on this week and cannot find out when its on again. help I need to get my nitro fix, whens it on again does anyone know?

I don't think it's on this coming week either Ian. I reckon Denver will be the next event to be covered and hopefully screened on the 17th.

if thats the  case then they missed the norwalk event. bugger!!!!!!!!!!

they have reduced the top fuel cars and funny cars to running over 1000ft instead of the 1320 mark for the time being until they can come up with some more safety issues since scott kalittas death.

Yes, a necessary step I suppose. I hope it's not something that stays in place too long and they resolve these issues soon.

this apparently was agreed by the governing body of top fuel and funny cars drivers and they say speeds will still be in excess of 300mph but the terminal speed will be around 4.1 seconds so fans should not be to disappointed.
maybe they need to look towards extending run offs to 3/4 to 1 mile on tracks able to take that extra space.
drag racing has always been one if not the safest motor sport for many years but is also the most powerful and aggressive.
lets hope it all pans out in the long run.
