Just recieved my application form to show at the Easton farm park festival on sunday 15th June 2008 (Fathers day) This show is orgnised by East Anglian practical classics and is mainly a classic car show but rods/customs/American are welcome. A few of us went to this show 2 years ago(wasnt on last year!) and had a good time, there is plenty to do all day for all the family. anyone interested in going can contact Ray, ray.68w@btinternet.com
This one is one that if you want to go you must book, otherwise you may well end up having to pay Easton Farm Park entrance fee's to get in.
We've been going since 2004, but this year we are going to Hangin' Dice instead.
If I remember rightly we took the Rapier and led Chris up some very tight twisty country lanes in his Chevy as we took the wrong turn off the A12 and came in through Wickham Market. This was in the days when Ness took something other than his daily to shows! Bless him.
I emailed the guy last night, he read it within 5 mins of sending, (i use a tagging system for my emails) but he hasnt got back to me so far. Anyone else use message tag? Brilliant little programme that tells you the time they recieve and read your sent email. That way no one can say "oh i didnt get that message" when you send important stuff. Caught many an ebay member out on that one!!! They must feel stupid when you tell them the date AND time they recieved it hehehe......

The closing date for entries isn't until 20th May. If you don't hear anything back ask when you go to Manningtree, the EAPC should be having a club stand there. If not I have got his phone number and I can PM it to you.
thats a result Mark, hopefully if dell pulls his finger out and rings then he'll get one too! i got my form last week number 309 so looks like it could be a good turn out
48 and we didn't send our form off until the closing date. (boy, how childish this could become)
Mark, if you speak to Ray let him know that you know Mike & Fi with the Super Snipe and hopefully he'll pull a few strings for you. Same goes for Dell.
Fi, sorry to ask but if you have connections could you make the call for us!
Sorry sweetie, you'll need to ring. I've got 2 numbers but not sure which one is the right one, it's either 01394 383735 or it's 01394 382295 and ask for Ray.
feb the bloody 18th i put the first link to this show, closing date for entry should have been 20 may, what happens? everyone decides they want to go 1 week before the show!
Simon ,Dell if you still haven't had any luck getting through it might be worth sending him an e-mail he want to know name and address what car it is and reg. no. you send it to ray with a self addressed envelope i can tell you the address if you want
Just spoke to Ray. He is sending me an email with the form. Needs to be printed and posted back. Needs it by wednesday to get passes out for the weekend.
Any one need a form, let me know and I will email it on to you.
of course we gotta meet up and cruise there. my form say's to be there by 10.30 but i seem to remember long queues last time we went. where's best place to meet? orwell truck stop? 9.00am
had a great day out. for me, this is probably the best 'classic' car show around as there is so much to do for everyone and the little rug rats dont get bored either! as for my special treat of the day, me and dell going for a ride in a helicopter! i've always wanted to go in one and fanks to dell it was sorted, cheers dell i only took a few pics, but here they are anyway
We didn't take any photo's and had hayfever big time whilst there. Fell in love with the guinea pigs and rabbits, but Mike said no when I asked if we could have one. Oh and the hot chocolate was ****e.
Apart from that it is a great show, good varity of cars and plenty else to do. Tony & Dell looked like they enjoyed the belly dancing.
