Spit n polish

Gave the old gal a quick polish yesterday and she came up quite well.

Thought i better remove the front o/s wing though.

Because after "i poked my tool around" i found a small amount of surface corrosion.......weirdface

How strange, thats the second offer ive had in two days!!! A guy made me a cash offer yesterday to take it as it is. No wing and the engine out but he still wants it. Engine is nearly finished now, just waiting for the top pulley, fuel filter and air filter. Ive cleaned the engine and fitted some new tinwear etc. Its not a show engine, just nice and clean to work on if needed. Will post a piccy when its done smile

I pulled some of the engine to bits again today cos i decided i didnt like the colour of the fan shroud so im gonna repaint it and the tinware again. My chrome top pulley was no good cos mines a 6 volt and has a totally different pulley setup on the dynamo. After the engines done i gotta fit and spray the wing, get the rear apron tacked on and get a carpet set. Repaint the wheels and its about done. Theres some odd bits here and there need tittivating but im not too bothered by them. My cars live outside so a full on resto would be a waste of money. Could look for a lockup but i like havin the car here where i can keep an eye on it. smile.gif
Got a pair of these as well.
