Me and Stevie have been busy making a ...fing, bar type thing that goes in front of the rad replacing the grille. It's got to be finished as it needs some sort of centre peice. I was going to junk the bumper as it's not a mucher but when i placed it on the car i think it looks better on, what you think? I could always go buy a decent one? We've also adapted a zoomie from a beetle to go on the back! Finally fanks to Simone i now have a new rear number plate which i think looks much better than the rectangle one. Ta for that Bepe.
For the centre peice i was thinking along the lines of round chrome with satin black centre and a blue dot in the centre! (well it was partly Steves idea too!) we made a temp one to have a look to see what it looks like. not a good picture, but i'm sure you get the idea
love it, the grillle is brilliant although ive seen one with a mercury-esque one which looked the nuts, not sure on the zorst i do like to see twin exits and they are really easy to do, sorry, pass the eggs, love it though
like the grill idea makes it look more mean as an idea for the bumper have you thought about replacing it with say beetle t-bars(cal look) as for the exhaust i agree with mk3 zeph twin pipes from the rear would look better
yeh, still going with the centre peice. shes running fine now, mrbowtie gave her a complete engine service and i removed the head and valves and gave it an overhaul plus i changed the carb for one i bought off egay and it runs perfect now.
as an idea for the bumper have you thought about replacing it with say beetle t-bars(cal look)
