your right dell , it was sold to the highest bidder for £5201 but he turned out to be the kind of chap who brings a mechanic with him to find as many faults as poss in order to umm and ahh about the price. needless to say its relisted on ebay , it ends sat eve at 11.30 , and i am still hopefull to get my 5 grand back so i can go and get this years set of wheels and hopefully have enough change to start collecting early 30s ford bits to throw together some nasty little rod that the neighbours will hate every time i turn the key. Dont worry guys , my hearts still in the right place.I would rather have wasps shoved up my @rse than give up my beloved fords . I will endevour to keep you informed of any developments.
Pity it's got to go, and it's a pity Ebay seems to attract so many mongs who don't want to pay for things. (Last year someone drove 80 miles to see my mk1 Fiesta - a slightly shabby, standard, 25 year old daily driver, up for £250 - and wouldn't buy it because it didn't have a full main dealer service history. The next guy bitched 'cos it wouldn't run on unleaded! These idiots are everywhere....)
Anyway, I'm off to buy a lottery ticket....
