Hey Mitch, what model is that one? There's a couple of '80s PK50s around here, but your one looks a nicer shape. I'm not very clued up on Vespas (yet).
CBT time in a couple of weeks....

Hi Jonny, its called a 'small frame' vespa, it's the range that came before the PK, it ran from 1964 to 1983. they did a 50, 90, 100 and 125cc. The best bit is that they are VERY tuneable and handle better than any other scooter (you can scrape your stand on roundabouts!) This one has a 90 frame and headset, 50 forks, wheels etc and a 125 engine. It also has a Kawasaki head and piston which means its now 135cc. this one does go like stink but the clutch doesn't last long. Does do good burnouts as i found out sunday at MMM!
no they are the best handling vespa. Lambrettas engines sit central unlike the lop sided vespa so lambrettas will always out handle vespa's....but that small frame is quick for a 50!!!!
No way! a small frame can easy out handle an overweight Lammy, the engine may be central but they're too heavy, maybe a cutdown one would be better but that would breakdown before it got to the first bend! The small frame will be very quick soon, about to order a few bits for it. I wanna feel like i'm being sucked off the back when i pull away.
