Yep Grafitti lit my fire. Cruising, Rock n Roll, Kustoms, Classics and even a, at the time, modern modified!! 6 year old Chevy draggin' with the Deuce.
Cruising Chelsea with the cruising show on the radio and when that was done the old cassette player and fats domino, buddy etc. Pavements lined with people watching the spectacle and camera's on tripods along the way snapping us. Those were the days.
By that stage I wasn't so much a twinkle in my daddy's eye more a dark cloud over his head
In 62 I'd have been watching Twizzle and playing horse riding on the back of the sofa when mum wasn't watching. We didn't have a car back then and Dad sold his 650 Beeza with sidecar when we came along
was a kool film. The documentary you get with it on the DVD about the mking of it is very interesting too. One of the films that influenced my life. They are:
Chitty bang bang, Quadraphenia, death race 2000 (has anyone seen my driving) Hot Rod, Graffiti and Cry Baby (the best film ever).
