First off I'd like to say thanks to everyone I spoke to on Sunday I can now put faces to cars rather than Cars to forum names.
Thanks for all the offers of help, they really are appreciated as I know I couldn't do this on my own, but I guess you all had to start somewhere too.
I've been in touch with Roland (the guy with the V8s) and he's happy to swap my Diesel lump for the V8's. Just need to know from either Mitch or Simon when you have a free weekend or when the van is available and when Roland is available to go and get the motor/motors.
also need to know when Mr Bowtie and Dell? are free to help me to remove the diesel lump, I'll be free most weekends so It's up to you guys when/if you can get down.
Hopefully between us we can get the truck back on the road, If not then I'm going to have to cut my losses and sell up .
I'm getting the diesel Lump out this Saturday as I've managed to get hold of an engine lift. Then I just need Mitch or Si to lend a hand gettin it down to Roland.
BUGGER, Couldn't get the engine lift o the diesel is still in :( , feck. Hopefully I'll be able to get it during the week, if not does anyone have one i Could borrow?
