I left a messeage for Fitzy the other night asking where he had vanished to and found that whilst out on his scooter he was stationary when a car ploughed into him from behind, the driver apparently was on his mobile at the time and as always when two wheels are involved, the driver didnt see him!!
Ian has a couple of broken ribs and collar bone that I know of and am not sure what else but he is not in a good way.
On behalf of all on Turtlespeed we wish you a swift recovery and will send some pics from Sunday to you.
Ouch! Thats the trouble with two wheels. Thats why after my vespa met a BMW in 1987 my leg ended up with a 14" long scar and a metal rod in it for life and the BMW driver just got a scratched passenger door. Then when i was in hospital my best mate piched the girl i was about to ask out, eh Simon.
you can but its hard work. I have to keep my body fit and trim and my stamina up....its hard work keeping the training routine. My body is my temple.....and the ladies love it!!
Thanks to everyone for you kind words. I have posted a note about it also but thanks again. I am on the road to recovery and it does give me a good excuse to give the bike a new paint job. (always a silver lining) lok forqward to getting to the next run out and meet a few of you. Oh well back to the zoo
