It`s taken as read that most peeps that are runnin` a classic generally tend to join up with an owners club mainly for the advice, chat n spare etc........
I thought I`d try n get rid of a couple bits last week n while bored on the pooter one night I tracked down the owners club for the bits I had........Bein` a freindly sort of geez I joined the forum n introduced myself n posted that both me n me wife both have these particular motors as daily drivers..........Would ya believe it,a post came back asking for pics of the daily drivers
I answered " Dont ya you know what a Mondeo looks like"?................Yeah you`ve guessed it,there is a Mondeo Owners club !!!!!!!!!!!! Then I`m invited to a meet at the Thurrock services by the Essex area rep.
Is it me ?

we've got a sadsack at work who drives a 2 lt LX which has got the best 2 lt in the world in it "you wont find a faster one" he says with sad pride. when asked what new car he would buy if given £30,000 he'd buy the top of the range mundaino. euthenasia is the only answer for such people. daily hack, fine, actually taking pride in it, sod off. if you have the phone number of said rep, i'll pass it on to fat tony, i'm sure he'd love to belong, just belong!
i went on mondy owners club site, thought about joining(? ?).... but was quickly put off after reading a few bits on their forum, glad i got over them few minutes of madness, i just shaved all my hair off instead! my hair is now on ebay, any bidders?
